Miss Sue


Miss Sue is a very dedicated dance teacher and feels very fortunate to have trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Theater in Southern California with such notable teachers as Linda Yorth, Joe Tremaine, Roland DuPree and Lous DaPron.  Her professional dance credits include The King and I, Bye Bye Birdie, Godspell, Blaire Farrington’s Viva Las Vegas, Miller Reich’s C’est Magnifique and 6 years in Reno as a Lead showgirl in Donn Arden’s Hello Hollywood Hello. Miss Sue owned her own studio, The Dance Centre, in Reno for 11 years before moving to Las Vegas. In 1994 Miss Sue joined UNLV and taught all levels of tap for over 14 years. Miss Sue has also attended and taught at N.A.D.A. conventions and has continued to train through the years at LA Dance Force, NYCDA, and Clifton Dance Project, and LA Tap fest. Miss Sue feels most fortunate to have taught and choreographed dance students all over California and Nevada for the past 35 years and has won many competition awards and titles. Many of her students have gone on to professional Dance careers but all of her students mean so much to her.
